TerryLee Fahina
June 28, 1955 ~ July 3, 2021
TerryLee Fahina, a resident of Ogden, Utah, died unexpectedly on July 3, 2021, at the age of 66.
Terry was born in Ogden, Utah on June 28, 1955, to Ted Pratt Sr. and Verna Behunin. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Bonneville High School and then from Stevens-Henager College with an Associates degree and worked as a phlebotomist and medical assistant. She married George Redfield, John Gailey, and Vili Fahina (all at different times of course. She wasn’t a polygamist.).
Terry was a vivid storyteller. Those that had the privilege of hearing her stories were always left to decipher the fact from fiction. She enjoyed Wednesday Night Poker and trips to Wendover with her friend Gary. She was known for always having a bottomless supply of Diet Coke. She loved everything shiny and was always decked out in bling. She had a kind heart and was known for providing Thanksgiving dinner for her neighbors in the senior apartment building.
Terry is survived by her children, Jon (Michelle) Redfield of West Jordan, Utah; Paul (Lisa) Gailey of West Jordan, Utah; and Cristie Redfield of Clinton, Utah; her siblings, Ted (Rita) Pratt of Fremont, Nebraska; John Barker of Ogden, Utah; Jerry Barker of Ogden, Utah; Cindy (Darrell) Dabb of West Haven, Utah and Linda Patterson of Sacramento, California; her two granddaughters, Rhylee and Sammie—who were the light of her life; her long-time best friend–her dog Finnie, and her sassy parrot Henry; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Terry is preceded in death by her parents, Ted Pratt Sr., Kenneth and Verna Cook, her brother, Jack Anderson; her ex-husband, Vili Fahina, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Special thanks to Gary Winn who always made her smile, took her on various trips, and treated her to Chuck-a-Rama every Wednesday followed up by a 12-pack of Diet Coke.
Thank you to all of those who knew and loved Terry.
