She was born January 9, 1918 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Richard Perry and Maria Mary Gigliotti Perry. She grew up in the Ogden area and graduated from Weber High School and Ogden Beauty College.

Mother was a kind, gentle, loving Lady. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was a talented seam-stress making most of her own clothes. She loved to sew but most of all she loved to crochet. All of the family and a good many of her friends were blessed with gifts of love from her.

Mother was fortunate to have traveled all over the world. She often reminisced about going through the Panama Canal, visiting the Pyramids in Mexico, riding an elephant in India and walking the Great Wall of China. She visited Europe several times and was able to explore the small village in Southern Italy where her parents and grandparents were born.

Thelma is survived by her children, Richard (Sean) Priest, Layton; Milton (Linda) Priest, Mountain Green; Jean Priest Nebeker, Layton; four grandchildren, Tracy Jill Page, Dan (Christi) Priest, Steve (Tammy) Priest, Braden Hart; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle, Nicole, Tyler, Hunter, Brock, Brendon, Cameron; and a brother, John Perry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, LaMar, a son-in-law, Alfred Lynn Nebeker, and her special friend, Ed Wiggins.
