Thelma Ireta "Rita" Taylor

OGDEN - Rita Taylor, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was born Sept. 30, 1923, the first of six daughters, to Leland Perry Potter and Wilhelmina Anderson Potter in Tremonton, Utah, where she grew up and graduated from Bear River High School.

On July 14, 1941, Rita married Roy Frank Taylor in Paris, ID. They were later sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They have been married for 69 years. Together they had five children: Dixie (Allan) Barlow, Potomac, MD.; Randy (Lorna) Taylor, West Point, UT; Shari Taylor, Hailey, ID.; Maureen Gae (deceased); and Marilee (Larry) Merritts, Ogden.
