Thelma Jean Wolfe, 71, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Davis Hospital in Layton. Thelma was born on April 30, 1940 in Marion, Virginia to Mirt & Sarah Hutton.

She married George Eugene "Gene" Wolfe on August 8, 1958 in Marion, Virginia. They had 3 children: Revonda "Vonnie", Darrell and Melvin. Gene and Thelma moved to the Sunset area in 1966.

Thelma was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Roy. She enjoyed crocheting. She loved flowers and had beautiful flowerbeds. Most of all she cherished her family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the love of Gene''s life and took excellent care of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Thelma is survived by her husband, George E. Wolfe of Layton, Revonda "Vonnie" (Phil) Ford of Ogden, Darrell Wolfe of Clearfield, and Melvin (Tana) Wolfe of West Point; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Crabtree, Gladys Taylor; and Ruby Burchett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, 5 sisters, daughter-in-law, a grandson and a great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
