1924-2015

Theo M Fletcher, 91, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, grandmother, and friend passed away on November 23, 2015.  She was the ninth of ten children born to John Irby and Clara Mae Love Hodson on February 24, 1924 in Clearfield, Utah.

She graduated from Davis High School in 1942 and worked at Hill Air Force Base.

Theo married Howard Fletcher on September 21, 1942.  Howard and Theo moved to Ogden where she lived for 63 years.  Their two daughters JoAnn and Connie both died at child birth.  Howard passed away in April of 2001.

Theo was very talented and enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and bowling. She enjoyed gardening and her favorite flower is a rose.  Her favorite team was the Atlanta Braves.

Theo is survived by her loving daughter, Bonnie Jo (Bill) Snyder-Prince, six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, parents, and nine siblings: Elmo, Virgil, Grant, Dale, Sherm, Gwen Pike, Faye Marino, Mae Wheelright and Beverly Craig.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Burch Creek 6th Ward, 3680 Eccles Ave, Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
