1928-2014

Theo Italasano, 85, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born December 14, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Byron Francis and Stella Fullmer Thurmond.  She married John G. Italasano June 25, 1955 in Ogden, Utah.

Theo graduated from Ogden High School and Utah State University.  She worked as a teacher in the Granite School District and was elected and served one term on the Davis County School Board.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Theo loved reading, doing puzzles and needlepoint.

Survived by her sons: John (Sherrie) Italasano, Robert Italasano, Scott (Elizabeth) Italasano and David (Joelle) Italasano; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson Ryan J. and brother Richard Thurmond.

Funerals services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
