Theodore "Ted" N. Mohr

Theodore N. “Ted” Mohr March 24, 1966 ~ April 26, 2013 Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, father, and friend passed away on April 26, 2013 after a long struggle with addiction. Ted leaves behind many who will dearly miss him. At his core, Ted was an artist. He had an amazing gift for writing and art. His poetry was incredibly introspective and telling. His art was playful and whimsical. He was also one of the funniest people around. He could always make you laugh. Ted was a good man with a huge heart. He was born on March 24, 1966 at Scott AFB, Illinois to Lt. Col. Thomas and Alba Mohr. He grew up as a “military brat” living in many places. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1984. Ted went to Weber State and was an active member of Beta Theta Pi. He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a machinist. He was married to Kass Tocher, later divorced. Ted loved his daughter, Blaire. Ted is survived by his parents, Tom and Alba Mohr; brothers, Robert (Teresa) and John (Naomi); nephews, Dylan, Collin, Kellan and Finn; daughter, Blaire; Aunt Liv, and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Thomas Mohr, Jr. A Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held on May 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 28th & Quincy, Ogden. Friends may visit with family one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug a loved one, reach out to a friend, resolve unresolved issues, learn to forgive, and never stop talking. PATH LESS TRAVELED And yes, I walked upon the path less traveled. I walked upon it and soon became lost. I was then robbed of all my worldly possessions, severely beaten and left wandering aimlessly until I died. Stay upon the well traveled road people. It is well traveled for a reason. ~Ted Mohr 5-18-03
