Theresa Ann "Terri" Pilarczyk

Theresa Ann “Terri” Pilarczyk OGDEN – On Friday, March 5, 2010, Mother Earth lost a great spirit and we lost the best daughter, wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend. She passed away due to complications from a pulmonary embolism. She was 52 years old. She was born January 25, 1958 in Ogden, Utah to Eddie Joe Bragg and Clara Hochwart. She attended St. Joseph’s School and later received her G.E.D., which she was very proud of. She married her high school sweetheart, Ken Pilarczyk, on July 12, 1974, his birthday, so they would never forget. A few short months later, she became a mommy for the first time when her daughter, Patresa was born and few short years later she became a mommy again when her son, Kenny was born. Terri’s dream was always to be a mommy and raise the best children she could and she achieved that. She was way proud of that job and her children. Terri was a very beautiful woman and spirit. She was loved by many and would do anything for anyone. The world needs more people like her and she will be missed. She had many friends who loved her and her interests. She loved Native American Culture and was an energy healer. She loved rocks and crystals and going to gem and mineral shows and looked forward every year to going to the Mountain Man Rendezvous to visit old friends. Later in life, she decided to become true to her spirit and who she was and let the world know. She did this through her tattoos and she was very proud of them and met many good people doing this which she was thankful for. She loved and was one with nature. She was probably the happiest on her 20 acres outside of Duchesne. She loved animals and supported The Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, but most of all she loved her own animals, her dog Daisy Mae and her kitty Gypsy Rose and they desperately miss her. She is survived by her mom, Clara Bragg, Las Vegas, NV; husband Ken of Ogden, UT; daughter Patresa “Petri” Pilarczyk of South Ogden, UT; and son Kenny (Danna) Pilarczyk of Harrisville, UT. She is also survived by her beautiful new grandbaby, McKenna “Taterbug” of Harrisville. She was so happy and proud to be able to be here to welcome her into the world and loved her more that we’ll ever know. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Clara, her dad Eddie Joe, her father-in-law George Pilarczyk and many friends and beloved pets. Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday, March 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. She will have her wishes honored and be cremated and her family will later spread her ashes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. We were blessed and honored to have you in our lives and you will be missed more than you know. Now you are free and you can join your grandma, but we love you and we’ll never forget. Hoka Hay (It is a good day to die) and “That’s what she said”.
