Theresa Mary Quintana Silva passed away peacefully November 4, 2016 from natural causes.

She was born on January 4, 1942 in Questa, New Mexico to Nellie Elionel Quintana Abeyta.

Theresa moved to Ogden, UT as a child where she later found her sweetheart, Charlie Silva. They were married October 3, 1960 in Ogden, UT.

She loved to dance and had a wonderfully funny personality. She was an excellent cook! Her family always came first and she was always so very kind and generous.

Theresa is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie; sister, Carmen Powell; and her grandfather, Jose Quintana.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie, and two sons: Leo D. Silva and Michael S. Silva, both of Ogden; three sisters: JoAnn (John) Kennedy, Roy; Adele (Arthur) Perez-Brady, Ogden; and Linda Joyce Smith, St. George; three brothers: Benjamin Abeyta, Perry, GA; Joe Abeyta, Ogden; and Jerry Abeyta, Ogden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th St, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 6-7 p.m. Rosery will be that night from 7-8 p.m. Interment will be at Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd, Ogden.
