LAYTON a€" Theresa M. Trujillo, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013.

She was born October 27, 1931 in La Madera, New Mexico the daughter of Cirilo J. and Angelita Archuleta Trujillo.

She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Theresa loved dancing, listening to Mexican music, cooking and going to family gatherings.

Surviving are her son Juan J. Velasquez, Layton; daughter, Jessica M. Trujillo, Layton; three grandchildren, brother, Victor Trujillo, Kennewick, WA; and sister Gilberta Trujillo, La Jara, Co.

Preceded in death by her parents, sister Bernice Sanchez, three brothers, Albert, Juan and Joe Trujillo, daughter, Linda Gallegos and grandparents.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton. Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
