Thomas Allen “Tom” Jones

October 15, 1950 ~ May 13, 2015

Thomas Allen Jones left this life on May 13, 2015 due to an extended illness.  Tom was born on October 15, 1950 in Ogden, Utah.  He was the son of the late Thomas Allen and Dorothy Petersen Jones of Ogden.  He was the brother of the late Rod L. Jones.  Tom was educated in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.

On October 16, 2014 he married his longtime partner of 25 years, Don Fernelius.  They shared a great life together and worked hard to build that foundation.

Tom loved good music, nice cars, and his pet and endless companion, Alby.

Tom was a great son, brother, and husband and had a great sense of humor along with a charismatic personality and always could make people laugh, a quality most will not forget.

Tom is survived by his spouse, Don Jones; his mother, Dorothy Petersen Jones; sister, Syd (Les) Garner; his nieces, Haley (Jake) Hutchison, Shelby and Taylor Garner.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers please give the one you love a hug and cherish those around you.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
