Thomas French, born November 14, 1946 in Tacoma, Washington, passed away on September 13, 2023 in Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audene Scharp French; his parents, Eugenia and Walter French; and brother, Bill French
Thomas is survived by his children, Nathan French and Christian French as well as his brother and sister, Charles French and Julie Voigt. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Ariana French and Trinity French.
Thomas had a passion for the outdoors and spent countless days in the local Wasatch Mountains reveling in activities such as camping, hiking, target practice, and skiing. He found solace and tranquility in nature and shared his love for the great outdoors with his family and friends and the small pack of Pomeranians his wife raised.
Throughout his life Thomas dedicated his professional career to the construction industry where he displayed outstanding skills and perseverance for many years over the Western United States. He found great satisfaction seeing his projects come to fruition and showing his sons what his hard work accomplished.
He met his wife and love of his life Audene while boating with friends on Pineview and they were inseparable since they met.
Memorial Gathering to honor and remember Thomas French's life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m.at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends, family, and acquaintances are invited to join in paying their respects and celebrating the memories they shared with Thomas.
Thomas French will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were fortunate to experience his adventurous spirit.
