Thomas King

Thomas King OGDEN – Thomas King 89, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at a local care center in Ogden. He was born September 14, 1918 in Fallon, Nevada, a son of Thomas Sr. and Sarah Annie Tidsey King. Tom married Agnes Shenon in California. She preceded him in death. He lived in California for the majority of his life, moving to the Ogden area where he resided for the past five years. Tom was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army in the Philippine Islands. He retired as a maintenance engineer after many years of service. Surviving are one niece and three nephews, Ruth Hess, Mike Hess, Rick Hess, Randy Hess and many additional great-nieces and great-nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two sisters, Amy Howell and Gladys Galacher. The family would like to thank the staff and his many friends at Harrison Regent. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park where Military Honors will be accorded.
