LAYTON a€" Thomas Jackie Napples, 54, a devoted grandfather, brother, son and friend passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at home.

He was born October 19, 1958 in Troy, New York the son of Donald and Thelma Naomi Cox Napples.

Thomas was in a long-term relationship with Tamra Kallas.

He was a member of the LDS Church. Thomas was the best mechanic in Davis County. He had a big heart and would help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed camping and four wheeling.

Surviving are his mother Thelma Naomi Cox, father and step-mother Donald and Luise Napples, brothers, Joe Napples, Bud Napples, Chuck Napples, sister Kristine Napples-Lindsay, step-brother, Matthew Cox, step-sister Donna Cox-Gray, longtime companion Tamra Kallas, daughter Amber Kallas, grandchildren, Marissa, Marcella and Isaiah.

Preceded in death by his step-father Leroy Cox, sisters Brenda Napples, Melanie Ann Cox and brother Robert Cox.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Fielding Cemetery, Fielding, Utah. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
