Thomas A. Phillips

LAYTON – Thomas A. Phillips, 73, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 where he resided most of his life.

He was born December 7, 1942 in Ogden, Utah the son of Vince F. and Ruth Keller Phillips.

Thomas married Sharon Caldwell.  They later divorced.  He married Kathy Smith.  They later divorced.  He married Judy Stone.  They later divorced.

He retired from HAFB as a computer programmer in 2003.  He was an avid outdoorsman his entire life.  His true passion was spending time with his family at his cabin in the Uintah Mountains.

Surviving are his children, Kent (Patti) Phillips, Kim (Debbie) Phillips, Kyle (Melissa) Phillips, 14 grandchildren, brothers, Marshall (Nancy) Phillips, Kevin (Mary) Phillips, sisters, Sylvia (Bill) Hillaker and Lana Brigance.

Preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff Phillips and sister Colleen Scothern.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
