Thomas William Potter, Jr

Thomas William Potter, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully Friday, September 11, 2009.

He was born December 5, 1927 in Collinston, Utah to Thomas William Potter, Sr. and Francis Hope Potter. He was raised and educated in Collinston.

Tom attended Utah State University and Weber State College where he played football.

He worked as an auto mechanic for 40 years before retiring and moving to Ivins, Utah.

Tom is survived by a son, Thomas A. (Malynda) Potter, Tacoma, WA; a daughter, Cindy (Jay) Fackrell, Ogden; four grandchildren, one great-grandson; a brother, John (Jennie) Potter, Collinston; sister, Peggy (Delon) Hunsaker, Salt Lake City; and Connie Bronson, his companion and caregiver for his final year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
