Thomas Kenneth Ramage
KAYSVILLE a" Thomas K. Ramage returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. He was born April 10, 1919 in Sunnyside, Utah to William G. and Adella Alger Ramage.
He married Cleo I. Phillips on December 18, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death January 13, 1981. He married Dian Hennessee February 14, 1982 in Kaysville, Utah.
He served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 during WWII achieving the rank of Corporal.
He worked at Lockheed and Hill AFB as a sheet-metal worker and finished his career in the re-fueling unit where he was the supervisor. He retired from Hill AFB in 1974 with 32 years of service. Tom also worked part-time at Layton Sugar Factory later as a traveling salesman, owned and operated Knit for Joy Inc., farmed in Porterville, UT. Tom was a member of the American Legion Post 27 for 61 years.
Tom is survived by his wife Dian and his children William Ramage (LuDawna), Syracuse, UT; Kenneth Ramage (Pam), Las Vegas, NV; Rosalie Bunner, Fielding, UT; Thomas L. Ramage (Renee''), and has 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Cleo, one sister, Delma, infant twin brothers, two grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
