Thomas Starkey

Tom passed away unexpectedly in his home January 7, 2018. He married his sweetheart Jolene Nelson and had three boys.

He was employed at HAFB for nearly 40 years. He was instrumental in the construction of the HAFB Aerospace Museum. He was hard-working, intelligent, talented, and could fix anything and everything.

He even worked hard and beat stage 4 prostate cancer.

Tom was a devoted and caring father. His boys meant the world to him. Later this extended to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent many years coaching sports and in scout activities with and without his boys.

Tom loved fishing, hunting, and napping and was great at all three. Tom left a great example and legacy and will be greatly missed. We find peace knowing he is enjoying a pain free nap in a heavenly hammock.

Pa Tom leaves behind his wife Jolene Nelson; his boys: Scott & Sheryl, Jeff & Nancy, Troy & Kristine; his grandchildren: Justin & Cathy, Chad & Bridget, Matthew & Stephany, Nicholas & Alyssa, Trevor & Holly, Meagan & Jeff, Jacob, Tara Jo, Thomas, Jackson, Brenden, Deverey, and Jefferson; his great grandchildren: Austin, Josie, Jeric, Kole, Everly, Lucas, Benjamin, Lilly, Kolton, Caiden, Treyson, Bentley, and Camden.

At his request, a small family gathering was held on January 14, 2018 to celebrate his life.
