Thomas Carson Stephens
Thomas Carson Stephens was born January 3, 2015 in Golden Colorado. Although little Tommy may have appeared frail, he possessed great strength and undeniable peace. As is true for each of us, a unique and individual plan was laid out for Thomas. There was purpose in him coming to this life as he did, and also in his return. In 17 short days he taught all who surrounded him powerful lessons of love and selflessness. His mission, we will continue to see unfold through the years.
Thomas is the treasured son of Isaac and Emily Stephens and little brother to Eli, Ian, and Sophie. According to his oldest brother, Thomas was a star at being patient and cuddling. He was met by his angel grandmother, Kathy Stephens, who will care for him until our joyous reunion.
“And with the morn those angel faces smile, which I have loved long since, and lost a while.”
He is survived by his parents and siblings, maternal grandparents Val & Catherine Harrison, Great-grandmother Joy Hulme, and by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the 34th Ward building, 540 N 1200 E in Bountiful, UT. Internment at Alpine City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made to 99balloons.org or March of Dimes in Tommy’s honor.
