Thomas "Tommy" Octave Broyard

July 13, 1952 — February 6, 2023

Born July 13, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee, Tommy was the youngest son of Charles and Eurydice Marie Bordenave Broyard. As a young child his family moved to Miami, Florida, where he was raised and schooled, graduating from Christopher Columbus Catholic High School in 1970 and furthering his education at Miami Community College.

For most of his working life, Tommy was a Customer Service Professional for Western and later Delta Airlines, retiring as a supervisor with over 40 years in the industry.

Tommy married Jennifer L. Miller in the spring of 2002, and they were later divorced. They have one daughter, Ella J. Ocean.

Tommy enjoyed golf, golf, and more golf. He also loved the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Heat, and the Utah Jazz, as well as the Florida Marlins. Having grown up watching soap operas with his mother, he was a devoted fan of The Young and the Restless. Tommy loved to travel for his annual boy’s golf trip to Myrtle Beach.

Tommy is survived by Ella, now of Mobile, Alabama, and his older brother, Charles Broyard, of Miami, Florida. Tommy is also survived by many friends and former co-workers from Delta and his golf buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Broyard; and an infant sister, with whom he is now reunited.
