Thomas James Van De Graff, 66, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Ogden, Utah. He was born on July 30, 1958, the son of LeRoy Marinus and Elsie Louise Mueller Van De Graff. Thomas grew up in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School, and attended Weber State University.
Tom was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was always willing to help and was very generous. He seemed to know everyone and was loved by his friends and family.
He worked in construction for most of his career. Tom enjoyed skiing with his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Tom is survived by his siblings, Deborah (Glenn) Simmons, Alpine; David (Janet) Van De Graff, Layton; and Kim (Dan) Cornell, Midway; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Pelar.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
