Thomas Frederick Willis

Thomas Frederick Willis, 71, passed away at his home in Evanston, WY, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. He was born on June 27, 1947, the son of Howard Elba and Dorothy Ramser Willis. He was born and raised in Springville, UT, graduated from Wasatch Academy, Weber State College, and then joined the US Navy.
He married Joan Taylor and they later divorced. He then married and divorced Claire Mortenson. He then married Kristine Hall on January 17, 1998, in South Ogden UT.
Thomas was a member of the Snowmobile Club, the Blackhawk Campout, and the Wyoming Art Council. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and being in the mountains riding his side-by-side. He also enjoyed Nascar Races and race cars. He loved all sports; his favorite being watching his sons play hockey and his grandchildren playing baseball, soccer, and basketball.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Kristine Hall Willis; daughter, Teri (Jeff) Berchtold; sons, John (Kristy) Willis, Jason (Debra) Willis, Blake Palmer, Brad Palmer, and Cody Keeney; as well as 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Willis and Craig Palmer; daughter, Becky Keeney; son-in-law, Brian Shafer; granddaughter, Whitney Keeney; parents; sister, Barbara (Russell) Martain; and brother John “Jack” Howard Willis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment at a later date at Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
