Thomas Kin Ngar Wong

October 2, 1955 ~ November 24, 2017

Thomas “Tom” Kin Ngar Wong was born on October 2, 1955 in Hong Kong to Foon Yung and Shee Fan Wong and settled in Roy, Utah.  He was preceded in death by both parents; his brothers, Gene, Chun, and Henry.

Tom married Lai Man Yu and had two children, Tony and Tiffany, but later divorced.  He married Kara Liptrot and adopted her daughter, RiLee, and together they had MaRyca.  He subsequently divorced again but remained close friends.

Tom attended Weber State University for a few years studying psychology while managing the family restaurant, Jade Terrace.  He enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and golfing.

Tom is survived by his children, Tony (Julie), Tiffany (John), RiLee (Travis), and MaRyca; grandchildren, Lilyan and Ian; his brother, Kwan (Helen); and his sisters, Janet (Hank) and Silvia (David).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
