FARR WEST a€" Timothy Willard Folkman, 62, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at his home of acute myelogenous leukemia.

He was born August 20, 1946 in Ogden, a son of Carl Ray and Viola Widdison Folkman.

On October 11, 1969, Tim married Andrea Rae Anderson in Elko, Nevada.

He was raised and educated in Plain City where he lived for 55 years. He graduated from Weber High School. He lived in Farr West for the past seven years.

Tim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He served his country with the U.S. Army.

He worked as a manager of the F-16 Speed Line Maintenance for Hill Air Force Base.

Tim enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, old cars and collecting memorabilia. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandsons, Jed and Max.

Surviving are his wife, Andrea, of Farr West; three sons, Tim Folkman, Jr., Matthew Folkman and Andrew Folkman, all of Ogden; and two grandsons.

Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Lee Folkman, Roy; Susan Raney, Ogden.

The family expresses special thanks to the LDS Hospital Leukemia Team.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
