Tina Bowman Miconi

July 3, 1968 ~ June 21, 2016

Tuesday June 21, 2016 we lost our loving mom, stunning wife, beloved daughter, proud Nonna, incredible sister, aunt, and best friend.  She passed peacefully from this earth surrounded by loved ones due to a sudden illness that took her way too soon.

Tina was born on July 3, 1968 to S. Lynn and Linda Allen Bowman.  She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. Tina was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Karlie, in 1987.  On January 28, 1989 she married the love of her life, Marco Miconi.  The love they shared is truly undeniable.  Their family of three grew in 1990 when they welcomed their first son “Milo” Myles to the family.  In 1992 their “Bubba” Christian was born completing their family of five.

Tina could light up a room with her confidence and love for life.  She always had a smile on her face, welcoming conversation and friendship to everyone.  She had the ability to make everyone feel at home.  Tina was always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to anyone who needed support.  Tina enjoyed hosting a good party, Sunday night movies, and prowler rides.  Tina loved holidays, Halloween and Christmas being her favorite.  Everyone knew her for her elaborate Halloween and Christmas decorations and parties.

In September 2009, she welcomed her first grandbaby, Rhyli Vanessa “Boo”. Her second grandbaby was born in April of 2012, her sweet Sophia Marie.  Later that same year she lovingly welcomed Logan Forest to the family.  Her children and grandchildren were truly the greatest joy in her life.  In her words, “her grandbabies were her favorite.”

Tina is survived by her hubby, mom, mother and father-in-law Renato and Luigina Miconi; three children, son-in-law Billy Maroney; three nuggets (grandchildren), brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and so many loving friends.  In heaven she was reunited with her sweet Daddy-O and other loved ones who have passed before.

A Celebration of Tina’s life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 5 p.m.at the Washington Heights Church, 1770 E 6200 S, Ogden, Utah.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
