Todd Allen Hamilton

February 8, 1969 ~ March 10, 2016

Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully March 10, 2016 following a valiant battle with numerous health problems which his body could no longer overcome. Todd lived most of his adult life in Utah, but as a small child he also lived in Illinois, Soul Korea, and Shreveport Louisiana. He was born February 08, 1969 in Rantoul, Illinois to Rod (Rodney) Hamilton and Jalene Hamblin. He loved tinkering with repairs of any kind whether automotive, small engine, or small appliances.  The love of his life was his tropical fish.  He turned his home into an aquarium that you could charge to enter since he had so many aquariums. His son, Brandon loved to help him with his fish whether it was cleaning the tanks, ensuring they were properly set up for a specific fish, or raising them from new hatchlings. He also loved the outdoors, he owned property at Sourdough Wilderness Ranch and would take his family on rides with his side-by-side ATV.

Todd was an entrepreneur in its truest form. Todd was a Semi truck driver working for a construction company. He also tried his hand at over-the-road long haul driving for a short time but his health would not let him continue with his love of driving. That didn't stop him from working until his health went bad.  He owned an outdoor RC car driving track, then an indoor RC car driving facility which included sales. He then developed an Auction business and finally he began purchasing items at auctions and reselling them on EBAY. He loved to keep busy working at his businesses.

Todd is survived by his wife Angela Hyde Hamilton of 18 years, four children, Todd John Hamilton (21), Brandon Allen Hamilton (18), Jessica Marie Hamilton (16), Dylan Frank Hamilton (11) all of Kaysville, Utah; father Rod (Rodney) Hamilton, stepmother Kayla King Hamilton, Clearfield, Utah; two sisters, Tamie Hamilton Mayes (David), Ogden, Utah; and Shelly Hamilton Spencer (Nick), Layton, Utah; and brother Corey Hamilton Layton, Utah; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins that he loved dearly.

Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Jalene Hamblin, grandmother's Helen Burns Hamilton, Dorothy M Hamblin and Josie King, grandfather's John Thomas Hamilton Jr., Jay Lewis Hamblin and Lawrence (Larry) King and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private grave side service will be held at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
