Todd Alan Vowles

1963-2018

It is with sadness that we say good bye, for now, to our husband, father, son and brother Todd Alan Vowles.  He was born 3 Feb 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah and passed away 9 July 2018 in Layton, Utah. Raised in Bountiful, he lived in Clearfield, Utah for 29 years before his very recent move to Layton.

He fought a valiant fight with Behcet’s Disease for 21 years before passing away of pneumonia in his new house, new chair and finally central air. He was an avid collector of science fiction memorabilia, especially Star Wars, as well as swords and knives.  Todd is at last out of pain and returned to his healthy body and mind.

Todd leaves us but joins his brother Mark and beloved grandparents, Lynn and Eva Vowles.

He leaves behind his dear and devoted wife Joyce Tamiko Vowles (Shimada) whom he married on 22 Jan 2010 in Farmington, Utah.  He married Christine Brown in 1984 (divorced), children: Byron (Kate), Quinn (fiancé Jennifer) and Brandy Randall (fiancé Eric), his mother Tamyrra Ellyn Vowles (Yeates), father Alan Lynn Vowles, sister Kimberlee Tisha Horne (Brian) and brother Trenton Yeates as well as grandchildren Chloe and Leo Vowles and Cole and Noah Randall.  He served honorably in the US Air Force for 6 years.  Todd, we all love you, and look forward to seeing you again someday!
