Thomas (Tom) L Frank

Born 6 June 1944 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Patricia Gay and Vern Frank, Tom passed away, December 14, 2018, at his new home, Oakridge Assistive Living, in Centerville, Utah.  He had lived there for only two weeks and was very happy.  Tom passed away from natural causes.

Tom was sealed to Laura Green in the Bountiful, Utah LDS Temple on 3 December 1999.  They made their home in Sandy, Syracuse, and Centerville Utah.

Tom graduated from the University of South Dakota at Springfield in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Technology degree. Tom worked most of his career as a mechanical engineer in the manufacturing industry, having owned his own specialized deburring company in Auburn, WA.  He served in the US Army National Guard for six years and was honorably discharged in 1968.

Tom was preceded in the death by his father, mother, and brother, Dennis.  He is survived by Laura (wife); step-daughter, Lisa Scoffield; adoptive daughters, Shellee Sandmeyer (Tim) and Bobbi (Darnell Hubbard), both of Rapid City, South Dakota; and sister-in-law, Linda Frank. He has left three grandsons and a granddaughter and two step granddaughters.  The family wishes to thank all those who provided service to Tom over the years. There are many both in healthcare and personal.

Graveside Memorial will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery.   Arrangements and burial entrusted to Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
