Tomean Boatright Simonson

Tomean Boatright Simonson passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013. She was born April 7, 1926 in Paul, Idaho the daughter of Thomas and Lillie Snow Boatright. Tomean married Leonard Simonson on May 1, 1949. They later divorced.

She worked at DDO and retired from HAFB after 28 years. Tomean loved gardening, working in her yard, cross stitch, crocheting and handwork.

Surviving are her son Hal (Cheryl) Simonson, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Jeri Harwood, Idaho Falls, ID; Patti Huffaker, Layton; Lorna Kay Smith, Layton; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her brother Norman J. Boatright, sisters, Kate B. Walker, Blanche B. Heiner, Georgia B. Volkers and Marjorie B. Adams.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
