Tona Ririe Sperry, age 79, passed away August 25, 2024. She was born November 17, 1944, in Ogden, Utah, to Milton Joseph and Dorothy Bell Ririe. She married Mike Sperry on June 30, 1976.
Tona loved to serve. She was always on the go, helping and volunteering where she was needed. She volunteered at Ogden Regional Medical Hospital, the 2002 Winter Olympics, and for many events in Ogden City including street festivals, Christmas Village, parades, etc.
Tona loved the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Oldies music, yard sales, her plants, going on cruises, and road trips with Ashlee to Yellowstone. She loved hosting Christmas Eve parties and decorating for the Holidays. She was an excellent cook and immaculate housekeeper. She had a great sense of humor, and her laugh was contagious. She had a pet sitting business. She loved animals and was always feeding, rescuing, and loving them.
She retired from Ogden City, having worked in many departments. She touched many lives and was loved by all. She will be missed by many.

Tona is survived by her spouse, Mike; daughter, Ashlee; brother, Jerry Corey; grandchildren, Jeremy Prigmore, Andrea Valeiro, Jordan Johnson, Cheyanne Rizzo, Garrett Baldwin. Nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Baldwin; parents, Milton, Dorothy, and Dorothy Corey Ririe; sister, Randee Braunberger, Don and Ellen Baldwin.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Please dress casual (jeans, shorts, etc.)
