Tonnette (Toni) Barker Baide Carter

LAYTON - Tonnette (Toni) Barker Baide Carter, 66 passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, following her courageous two year battle with cancer.

She was born on February 17, 1946 in Montpelier, Idaho, the eldest of three girls born to Arnold John Barker and Ina Mortensen Doyle.

She dedicated 46 years of her life working at Hill Air Force Base doing what she loved, Human Resources.

In November 1969 she married Josip Miky Baide. They later divorced, but always remained good friends. From this marriage came the joy of her life, her daughter, Melissa Katarina Baide.

Toni will always be the heart and soul of our family. She showed never ending kindness and love to her family and friends, and was truly adored and respected by all who were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa, the true lights in her life, her grandchildren, Madyson and Easton, two sisters, Penny (Ted) Mayo and Sue (Mike) Burton, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
