Toshia Morgan Stettler

1975-2016

Toshia Morgan Stettler, loving wife, mother and sister passed away in her home Oct. 5, 2016 and is now in Heaven with her beautiful son MaCrae.  We are heartbroken with her passing and will miss her dearly.

Toshia was born on July 31, 1975 in Cedar City, Utah to Kevin and Trish Morgan.  She grew up happily in Layton Utah with her family, and made many lifelong friends.  She married her high school sweetheart, Darin Stettler, March 18, 1995 in Eden Utah.  They have 5 beautiful children and have had a fun, adventurous life together.  They lived in Erie, PA while Darin attended medical school, Gainsville, FL where he completed his residency, and finally returned home to Kaysville Utah.

Toshia’s greatest joy came from being with her family.  Her first priority was taking care of her children and her husband. She would hug them, support them, and laugh with them.  But the thing she did best was LOVE them.  She referred to them as “My World.”

Toshia loved sunshine, boating, palm trees, beaches, and sand. She enjoyed tropical vacations and trips to Lake Powell.  She was a talented decorator and made her home beautiful.  She loved music and attending concerts.  In fact, it made her day when Tim McGraw pointed right at her and sang this past summer.   She usually had a Coke Zero in her hand and loved eating steak and swedish fish.  She often got asked which workout gym she attended and she would just laugh because that was the one place she didn’t like to go.  She truly was just naturally beautiful.

She is survived by her husband, Darin Stettler; daughters Presley and Kennedy; sons; Baylor and Boston; her parents Kevin & Trish Morgan: sisters Lacey (Allen) Alexander, Paige (Chase) Hughes; grandparents Jack & Sandra Stevens, Mary Morgan, Michael & Audrey Nielson, and many nieces and nephews who love her.  She was preceded in death by her son MaCrae Morgan Stettler and grandfather William P. Morgan.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10th at 2:00 PM, at Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT. Friends may visit will family on Monday from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist Memorial Park in Layton.
