Traci Bennington Jackson
April 12, 1984 ~ February 11, 2021
Our mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, Traci Bennington Jackson, returned to her heavenly home, unexpectedly, on February 11, 2021 after a very brief illness. She was born April 12, 1984 in Ogden, UT to Blake and Mona Bennington. She grew up in Clinton, Utah and spent her childhood making happy memories there. She was active in sports and dance and loved to be with friends and family. She graduated from Northridge High School in 2002.
Traci met her sweetheart, Robert Elsworth Jackson, in 2009. They were married on March 27, 2010. When they married she gained two of her greatest blessings with Austin and Shelby. Soon after they added their sweet pug Lilly to their family. They built a life they loved and were sealed in the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in March 2015. Their family was complete when they welcomed their precious Bailey to it on May 26, 2016. When Bailey was born, Traci became a full time, stay at home mom, it was her dream come true.
She was happiest when she was with her family. She loved them so much. They loved to go on adventures together. Camping and visiting National Parks were some of her favorite times. She loved to visit Disneyland and was so happy when she got to introduce her kids to that magical place.
Traci was a friend to all she knew. She would willingly do anything for her friends and family. As a child she was one of the first to include other children in her play, and felt sad when people were left out. As an adult she always tried her best to be there for those she loved. Her heart was open to so many and she blessed many lives in her short time here.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, Austin Douglas, Shelby Ann, and Bailey Nanette; her parents Blake and Mona Bennington of Clinton; siblings Wade (Kamille) Bennington, Wendi (Matt) Crotchett, Robert (Jessica) Bennington, Clay (Kristie) Bennington; in-laws Doug and Becky Jackson of St. George, Katie Jackson, and Christie (Nick) Cox; her nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Dorothy Holmes and Norman and Marilyn Bennington, her uncle Rex Tunbridge, and her beloved aunt Nanette Holmes.
