Travis Bruce Mann, a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, completed his earthly mission and returned to the arms of a loving Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Travis was welcomed into this world on December 17, 1969 by excited parents, Greg and Gaylene Nalder Mann.
At the young age of seven, his father, Greg, died. This was a very traumatic time for Trav! In July of 1978, Travis got a new dad, R. Lynn Perkins, and they became very close as father and son.
Travis had a gift for writing. He received a journalism scholarship to college. During his college years he made many close, lifelong friendships.
He married Julie Barlow on May 17, 1991. They were later divorced, but Travis remained the custodial parent to their son, Ryan.
Ryan was the sunshine in Trav''s life. They did everything together. Travis was so proud of him and wanted nothing but the best for him. They enjoyed several fun vacations together.
Travis was employed by the State of Utah at Cache Valley Youth Center in Observation and Assessment. He worked with many fine people and enjoyed and loved the youth he counseled.
