Trevor Nielson

Our loving son, father, brother, uncle and fellow adventurer, Trevor Nielson, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013 from a tragic accident. He was born on May 22, 1977 to Tamara Reese and Darell Nielson.

Trevor lived in many different places in the Ogden area and was currently residing in Saratoga Springs. Trevor was a brilliant guy. He graduated from Weber State with a degree in Computer Science. He then went on to graduate school at the University of Wyoming.

He loved the Chicago Bears and the outdoors. He went boating, hiking, snowboarding, mountain climbing and anything else that was adventurous. Trevor was always planning the next adventure. He loved to travel with his family and friends. Some of his favorites were sailing in the San Juan Islands, zip lining and surfing in Costa Rica, snorkeling in Mexico and visiting the ruins there. He climbed the Grand Teton at 11 years old. Trevor was a certified scuba diver. One of his last trips was traveling to Hawaii for his brother''s wedding.

Trevor''s greatest love was for his daughter Shauntel. He was very proud of her and her accomplishments.

Trevor is survived by his daughter, Shauntel; mother, father, brothers, Shane (Joy) and Trapper (Julie); sisters, Tiffany (John) Baty and Shylo Miller; and nephews and nieces. Trevor will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

A memorial fund has been set up under his name at US Bank.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
