Trixie Ruth (Pay) Jensen

1957-2017

Our beloved Trixie passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of her family in Bountiful, UT on January 8, 2018, at the age of 60.

She was born in Santa Cruz, CA on August 6, 1957 to Dorothy (Winkler) and Paul V. Pay.  Moved to Mt. Pleasant, UT where she graduated from North Sanpete High School.  Married Richard Jensen in the Manti Temple (later divorced), and made her home in Brooklyn Park, MN.  It was in Minnesota that her 4 children were born, Jason Jensen (Sheila), Melesa (Jeff) Loosle, Nick Jensen (Lindsey), and Stefanie (Jared) Gardner.

It was just 2 days after moving back to Utah in 1992 that she suffered an Aneurysm which left her with several physical limitations, but her spirit was never diminished!  Trixie had the purest heart and was full of love and gratitude to the very end.  So in her honor we would like to thank everyone at South Davis Specialty Hospital of Utah for their loving and kind care of Trixie for these past 21 years.  We would also like to thank the South Davis Branch and the missionaries who have served her all these years, especially her forever friend Maude Norman.

Trixie is survived by her four children, their spouses, and her grandchildren Kaylee and Daxton Jensen ; Ashley, Danielle, Emily, and Landon Loosle; Bronson, Greyson and Keller Jensen; Anna, Aiden and Ava Gardner;  mother, Dorothy Pay and siblings, Trisha (Buddy) Beimert,  Joy (Larry) Doane,  Melody (Richard) Phillips, David (Teri) Pay, Mark (Teri) Pay, Michelle (David) Sawyer, Charmaine (Kelly) Morley, and Tiffiny (Paul) Hatcher, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.   Waiting on the other side to greet her was her father, Paul V. Pay.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Bountiful 25th Ward Chapel, 1500 South 600 East in Bountiful, UT, where friends may visit from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the same location.  Friends may visit family on Friday, January 12th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 North 400 East in Bountiful, UT.
