Troy A. Fowers
FARR WEST – Troy Ammon Fowers passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the age of 26.
Troy was born January 26, 1982 in Ogden, to Robert “Bob” E. and Tammy Burnett Fowers.
He married Tori Whaley in July 2005 and together they have one son, Hunter. They later divorced.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Farr West 3rd Ward.
Troy loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved being with his friends and family. Troy’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his son and beginning Fowers & Son Pest Control.
Surviving are his son Hunter, loving parents, and one sister Wendy (Mark) Aardema, all of Farr West; two brothers, Todd (KayDee) Fowers, North Ogden; Tyson Fowers, Farr West; grandparents, Dee and Ilene Bambrough, West Haven; Ron Burnett, Salt Lake City; four nephews, Braxton and Brody Fowers, Tyler and Caden Aardema, one niece, Alexa Aardema, as well as his second family, Tom, Teresa and T.C. Boney. Troy is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Ammon and Luella Fowers, uncle Wayne Fowers, and two special friends, T.J. Boney and Shane Player.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Troy Ammon Fowers Trust Fund at any Goldenwest Credit Union.
