Troy D. Rees

Troy D. Rees PLEASANT VIEW – Troy Dugan Rees, 43, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 of a heart attack. He was born January 31, 1964 in Brigham City, a son of Lanny Gordon and Karen Marie Hansen Rees. Troy was a lifelong resident of the Ogden area. He was the owner of his own business, Troy’s Trucking and Excavating. He worked hard and played hard. Troy’s loves of his life were his fiancé, Tanya, and his son, “Chetterbug”. His family and friends were his first priority. Troy’s favorite pastimes were boating, dirt bikes, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and most important of all, spending quality time with his son. He was a wonderful daddy and always made every minute with his son special. Troy is survived by his fiancé, Tanya DeFisher, of North Ogden; son, Chet Lanny Rees, extended family, Jeff Price, Alexis Hartman and Kortnee Hartman, his mother, Karen Rees, of Pleasant View; his sister, Michele (Todd) Moyes, Plain City; and his loyal companion, Patch. Preceding him in death was his father. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
