Trudy Lee Earl Rhoades, 60, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2013 in North Ogden, at home with her loving husband. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on November 19, 1952 to Willis John and Norine Earl.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed a family gathering whenever possible. She served many years in the different capacities for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, such as Relief Society President and as a teacher of young children. She took pride in her many years working as a reading tutor to children in the Davis School District. She adored and appreciated her friends, neighbors and ward members who always cared for her and treated her like family.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Rhoades whom she married on December 1, 1972 and was later sealed to in the Provo, Utah Temple in 1975. She is also survived by her son, Dusty (Calli) Rhoades, four grandchildren she loved dearly: Noah, Daxton, Izzy, and Xaida Rhoades, and two brothers: Dennis (Paula) Earl and Ray (Julie) Earl. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vickie Atkinson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrisville Stake Center, at 1560 North 200 West in Harrisville. Friends may visit family on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. and again on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center.
