Trula Bradfield

Trula Irene Beckstead Bradfield, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Copper Ridge Care Center in West Jordan, Utah.

She was born on February 2, 1933 in West Jordan, UT to Melvin S. and Iva F. Beckstead. She grew up in West Jordan and Uintah Basin, UT. Married LaVar Bradfield on May 2, 1959. She lived in Clearfield, UT until LaVar passed away in 2008 and then lived in South Jordan. They were sealed in the South Jordan Temple April 2010.

She is survived by daughters Wanda Mountain, Las Vegas, NV and Linda McNelis, Seattle, WA; six grandchildren: Evan, Richard and Sean Mountain of Tylor, MI; Bridget, Tara and Sean McNelis of Seattle; several great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother: Maxine Ledkins, Murray, UT, Verla Mortensen, Bluffdale, UT; Sharon Weber, Roosevelt, UT, Melena Walters, West Jordan, UT and Vess Beckstead, Roy, UT. Preceded in death by husband LaVar, two sons Danny and Michael, parents, and one brother, Roy Beckstead.

There will be no services. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 S. State Street. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. The family would like to thank the staff and nursing aides at Legacy House and the Good Shepard Nurses for their kind and loving care and concern for our loved one. She loved each one of you.
