Truong Tran, 86, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1939, in Lai Thieu, Vietnam to Kim Tran and Tieu Chieu.
She married Minh Ly in 1956, Lai Thieu. They enjoyed 68 wonderful years together.
Truong is survived by her husband, Minh Ly of Ogden, UT; children, Hao (Quy) Ong of West Haven, UT; Thuan (Julie) Ly of Birmingham, England; Hong (Wendy) Ly of Ogden, UT; Anh (Hoang) Ly of San Diego, CA; Vinh (Ellen) Ly of Layton, UT; Vicky Ly of Ogden, UT, Linh (Don) Cottam of Pleasant View, UT; Tuong Ly of Clayton, NC; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Cuong Chieu.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
