Twyla Kathryn Foster

Twyla K. Foster PEORIA, Arizona - Twyla Kathryn Foster, 82, died Tuesday, September 25 2007 at Immanuel Campus of Care, Peoria, Arizona. She was born December 14, 1924 in Spring City, Utah, the daughter of Grover and Pearl Blain. On January 18 1946, Twyla married John Wesley Foster in Long Beach, California. Their marriage was solemnized in Ogden L.D.S. Temple on August 14, 1976. Twyla was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to sing in the choir with the Monroe (retirement) Branch. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are her children and spouses; Ronald Dwaine (Helen) Foster, Surprise, AZ; Larry Alan (Carla) Foster, Burle, WI; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her younger brother Alton Blain, Roy, Utah. Preceding her in death were her husband, John, one son Blaine Wesley Foster, one daughter Linda Kay Foster Brooks, her parents, and her older brother Grover Carlan Blain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
