Ty Blaine Redd

Ty Blaine Redd fulfilled his earthly mission on July 1, 2011 in an accident at his family''s cabin in Star Valley, Wyoming.

He began his life in Ogden, Utah on December 26, 1996 and we felt blessed to have him in our family. We were so happy and excited to have him, our Christmas Baby. As he grew, he developed a great love of the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed hunting with his hounds and his dad. He was devoted to his hounds. With his dogs alongside, he chased lions, he four wheeled, he shot his bow, and he spent quality time with gramps. Ty was going to be a ninth grader at South Ogden Junior High where he played football. Along with sports, he qualified twice to ride in the Western Mini Bull Finals in Montana; once riding with a cast on his leg. He loved to cowboy and was tough as nails. He would tell with pride he broke his arm four times and his ankle once. It was also his bull riding that Ty met so many life- long friends. They were truly important to him and there wasn''t a minute that went by that Ty didn''t spend with his family or his close buddies.

He could lay in bed for hours talking about the next hunt with his dad, play cowboys with his little brother, or take his little sister on a horse back ride. He was constantly trying to emulate his older brother and prove that he was as tough as him. At the same time, he was the biggest helper to his mom. She knew she could always count on him to do what he was asked. He would wear the "pretty boy clothes" that his mother would pick out for him in the morning and he wanted everyone to be as happy as he always was. He was a boy with the biggest brown eyes and beautiful smile and dimples. His smile would captivate everyone, and then he would hit them with his amazing personality, which made him unforgettable.

Without question, Tyrone had a zest for life that many only dreamed of and he would make it happen. He used his time wisely while here. He was constantly on the go and the best part is that he filmed and narrated his many adventures. He wanted to make sure that we saw life the way he did; describing every detail of what he saw and felt. When telling a story, Ty had to have our complete attention. He would hold our faces and look directly into our eyes making sure that we shared his excitement.

He also respected his aunts and uncles and shared his love of learning, taxidermy, hunting, games of b-ball, and hanging out with them. Ty loved his gramps more than anything and followed his Papa Lance from a very young age. He enjoyed teasing his Nana and enjoying her many treats. Their home was a second home to Ty and he loved spending time there. He saved every knick-knack his grandma Tina gave him.

Ty was a choice young man with a beautiful sprit. He wanted to be with his family always. Ty had a bond with his dad that was envied by many. This bond will never be broken even in death. He was obedient and always honored his mother and father. Ty never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He truly was an example to others in his word and deed. Ty''s family was first in his life. His brothers and sisters were always a priority to Ty. His cousins were some of his best friends.

As his family who loved him dearly, we want Ty''s friends BJ, Hunter, Hayden and Mclain to know how much he cherished your friendships. You helped him to fulfill his life dreams as when you were chasing coons, shooting bows, or helping in Bryce Canyon as guides. We will always remember your late nights with b.b. guns and eating barbeque- chicken pizza. These memories of your special friendship with Ty will be our treasure.

We cherished the moment that our sweet boy was born and we held him in our arms; thinking that we had forever with him. We will also value the beautiful memories that our sweet Ty-Ty has left for us and his Christ- like example. There is a hole in our lives that will never be filled again without him. He held a place in our hearts and our lives that was truly one of a kind. We will miss you forever Ty. Our hearts ache without you here and we hold dear the fact that we will see you again. Our Heavenly Father had a plan for you and we know this and find comfort in that knowledge.

Ty was a member of Uintah First Ward where he was a teacher. Ty honored his priesthood and was a choice young man and spirit. He loved his Heavenly Father very much.

Ty is survived by all those he loved; his wonderful parents, Blaine and Jaylynn, his brothers, Tucker and Trace and his sister, Rachel. Ty is now in Heaven with his baby sister Emma who was there waiting for him with open arms. His grandparents, Lance and Vicki Redd, his grandmother, Tina Balliett, Scott Prevedel, Gary and Tamy Balliett, aunts and uncles Celeste and Scott Peterson, Nicole and Frank Marroquin, Blair and Roseann Redd, Angie and Steve Gaskill, Toni Balliett, Cody and Serena Balliett, Dustin Prevedel, and Yates Prevedel. Ty had many cousins who will miss him dearly.
