Uldene Sherrilyn “Sherrie” Hawes Hubbartt

“Together Again”

Our loving Mother, Grandma, Sister, and friend, Uldene Sherrilyn “Sherrie” Hubbartt, passed away on February 23, 2015.  Sherrie was born in Tremonton, Utah, to Thomas and Trellys Hawes on July 16, 1936.  She was one of six children.  She married the love of her life, Donald Hubbartt, on January 12, 1957.  Don was in the military, and while they were in Germany they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Christine Ann.  Sherrie and Don loved helping others.  When Don passed away, Sherrie continued to give loving service to others.

Sherrie’s daughter, grandsons, and great-grandson were the light of her life, and she was so proud of them.  She was active in the LDS Church and loved going to the temple and being a visiting teacher.  Sherrie also loved her “other family” at Family Tree in West Point and also Apple Tree Branch in Kaysville.

Sherrie is survived by her daughter, Christine Ann (Michael) Christensen; grandsons, Trenton (Matt), Tyler (Rebecca), and Dustin (Jennifer) Christensen; one great-grandson, Simon; brothers, Ronnie (Kim) Hawes and Boyd (Lyla) Hawes; sister, Karen Wallace; and sister-in-law, Lisa Hawes.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, her brother, Craig and sister, Lucille.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit family on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Plymouth City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Family Tree, Debbie and Jennifer at hospice, and her wonderful close friends for taking such good care of Sherrie and for their kindness and love.
