Utahna Marie Roberts Zamora
Utahna Marie Roberts Zamora returned to her heavenly home and was reunited with her family the evening of July 8, 2021.
Utahna was born to Laurence Wesley Roberts and Lizzie Ellen Parker Roberts in Salt Lake, Utah, on December 14, 1932. She was the youngest of four children and is preceded in death by each of her siblings; Harvey, Lorna, and Wayne. Utahna spent much of her young adulthood in the medical field helping others, and she spent her life nurturing a special love for dogs.
On June 28, 1958, Utahna married Frank Zamora, and together they enjoyed 50 years of marriage prior to his death in 2009. Utahna is survived by her children, Michael (Paula), Debbie (Juan), Holly (Chris), 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and even enjoyed having great-great grandchildren who surrounded her throughout her life and developed deep bonds with her.
Because of her special love for dogs, Utahna served with Frank in his dedication for over 30 years to the San Rafael Guide Dog Project, including raising funds and donating personal money for the blind to go through the program.
