Valerie Phillips Coxey "On Their Eternal Vacation Together"

Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Valerie Phillips Coxey, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born on May 1, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Vern and Reva Phillips. Valerie was educated in Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High School.

Valerie married Robert E. Coxey on September 12, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Robert passed away on September 22, 2009 after 57 wonderful years together.

She loved being with her husband. They loved to go camping and travel the world. Her greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren.

Valerie is survived by her sons, Richard (Kathy) Coxey, Radcliff, KY; and Jeff (Melissa) Coxey, Kaysville, UT; daughters, Debbie (Andy) Vigil, Clearfield, UT; and Michelle (Kevin) Cunningham, Meridian, ID; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother, Robert Phillips, Ogden; and sister, Diane Phillips Duke, Bullhead City, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Gordon Phillips.

An Open House will be held at, 1057 North 275 East, Harrisville on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 3 to 6 p.m. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org or a charity of your choice.
