Veda Violet Hoke Pearson

Veda Violet Hoke Pearson, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was born on January 6, 1939, born and raised in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
Veda married Don Pickles on June 6, 1955 and they later divorced. She married Everett Pearson on December 15, 1999 in Logan, Utah.
After receiving her Bachelor Degree she worked as a secretary for a time, but her favorite job was being a wife and mother at home.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving on a mission with Everett in October 2000 in Toronto, Canada.
Veda enjoyed artwork and painting.
Veda is survived by her husband, Everett of Ogden; sons, Donald G. Pickles of Sink Grove, WV, Adam C. (Tammy) Pickles of Sinks Grove, WV, and Daniel (Kelly) Pickles of Union, WV; daughters, Kathy Spangler of Sinks Grove, WV and Donna (Michael) Anderson of Sinks Grove, WV; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Douglas T. Pickles, and mother, Verna Hoke.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in Pickles Cemetery, Sinks Grove, WV at a later date.
