Vera Jean Moody

Vera Jean Moody, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016.  She was born on February 21, 1926 in Bowman, North Dakota, to John Arzie and Maude Harris Cozad.

She married Clifford C. Moody on July 19, 1942 in Baker, MT.  Clifford passed away on December 8, 1977.

Vera was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

She loved doing crafts and was a wonderful homemaker.

Vera is survived by her sons, Gerald L. (Ilene) Moody, Dodge City, KS; James Edward “Ed” Moody, Washington Terrace; Dennis J. (Laura) Moody, North Ogden; and Leo A. Moody, Ogden; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford C. Moody; son, Clifford John Moody; parents; brothers, Leonard and Alfred Cozad; and sisters, Helen Beeman, Julia Ashcraft, Mary Anderson, and Alice Cockrel.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 3286 Porter Ave, Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
