Verla Kennedy Neves, 85, died March 9, 2019 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Verla was born March 29, 1933 in Randolph, Utah to Alonzo and Alta Putnam Kennedy. She graduated from Weber High School in 1951. Verla was tiny, but she had a big impact on her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Petty of Layton; Michele Bingham of Minnesota, grandsons, Quinn Bingham, Ian Bingham, brothers, Gordon Kennedy, Kent Kennedy, sister, Karen Quintana, sister-in-law, Julie Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother Blair Kennedy.
The family is grateful to the staff at Chancellor Gardens and the personnel at Hospice.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
