VERLIN DARWIN GOLDSBERRY

1929-014

Verlin Darwin Goldsberry passed away March 6, 2014.  He was born on December 17, 1929 to   Verlin Stacy and Mary Jane Andrews Goldsberry, in Fairview, Idaho.  He married Alice Louise Albers in Idaho Falls, Idaho on February 20, 1951.

Verlin held the rank of Corporal in the United States Army and served in Germany.  He was a Charter Member of the North Salt Lake Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a member of the Lion’s Club and the J.C.’s.  His interests included four wheeling in Moab, camping and wood working.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Gary Lee Goldsberry, Troy Dee Goldsberry, daughters Terri Christine Johnson, Joyce Kay Hunsaker; 16 Grandchildren and 29 Great-Grandchildren; brothers, Andy, Frank, and Vaughn; sisters, Naomi, Wanda, Ruthann, Louann, and Donna.  Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two grandsons.

A Memorial Services will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah where friends may visit with the family from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park on Friday, March 14, at 12:00 p.m.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
